New year, new wine subscription?
Welcome to our wine club! So many of you were gifted wine subscriptions for Christmas so we’ve had an influx of new members.
Each month, we reveal the contents of our best-selling Juice Box. Subscriptions can contain 3, 4 or 6 cans of wine, depending on your plan but today we are focussing on the 6-can box. Remember, our Juice Box is our ‘mixed’ wine subscription. It changes with the seasons and is the only box whose contents completely change every month.
So let’s kick things off by revealing the first canned wine featured in the January 6 can Juice Box wine subscription.
Amfora No.1 Sparkling White Wine
This wine is a delicious blend of American white grapes. It’s made using Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Gris and Albariño. It’s crisp on the palate and very refreshing with notes of green papaya, jasmine and lemon zest. Pairs well with fish.
Green Roots Sustainable White Wine
This white wine is another blend, this time of Unoaked Chardonnay and Macabeo that has been grown sustainably in the high plains of Cariñena, Spain. It’s a crisp, dry white wine with fresh, citrus aromas and a clean finish.
Kanvas Garnacha Blanca
We’re keeping our feet firmly planted on Spanish soil with our next white wine. This 100% Garnacha Blanca has been hand-picked in the Terra Alta region of Spain. In the glass, it’s medium straw-green with a mineral and floral perfume. There are also some hints of stone fruit like peach and some melon, too.

Lubanzi - GSM
“What is a GSM?”, we hear you ask. It’s an old-school Rhône blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre and this one has been made with a contemporary style. A lovely ruby colour in the glass, and there’s mulberry and spices on the nose. On the palate, we can smell black fruits and forest floor. It’s soft, ripe and juicy.

Canned Wine Co. - St Laurent
Next up in this month’s wine subscription, we have a medium-bodied red from a family estate in Austria. The St Laurent grape variety is indigenous to the area and if you like Pinot Noir, you’ll love a St Laurent. It’s full of plums and mulberries with hints of peppercorn spice. Try this red wine slightly chilled.

Kiss of Wine - Picante
Last but by no means least, we’ve got a punchy Garnacha Tintorera from Valencia, Spain. This red has a bold, mouth-filling palate with vibrant red fruit flavours, dried herbs and white pepper. The vines are planted at high altitudes which gives this wine a mouthwatering freshness.
